What it cannot do yet

  • Be bought at a firm price: the €98,000 figure is an estimate
  • Be called a home robot yet: NEURA's reservation page does not say whether it targets households or industry

The 4NE1 is the humanoid from NEURA Robotics, a German company based in Metzingen. It is one of the few humanoids with a published European price estimate and a reservation page that private individuals can use, but nothing on that page says it is for homes.

Price and reservation

NEURA’s reservation page states an estimated price of €98,000 per unit for 1 to 19 units and €60,000 per unit for 20 or more, excluding taxes and shipping. The reservation fee is €100 per unit. It is refundable until the final purchase agreement is signed and credited toward the price afterward. Reservations on the page are for individual orders; industrial or commercial quantities go through a contact form. Because the price is quoted in euros, no dollar figure is shown in the tracker. The price guide puts it next to the other published numbers.

Timing

The page says availability is expected at “end of 2026” and the FAQ refers to a “late 2026 release” whose design may be refined before then. Each unit is delivered as a fully operational robot with a charging station. Specialized or third-party end effectors are not included.

What the page does and does not say

The page lists multimodal interaction, manipulation and transportation tasks and says the robot is built to work alongside humans. It describes “natural height,” “high-torque actuation,” “integrated high-dexterity hands” and a “high-capacity battery” without any numbers. Interfaces include Wi-Fi 6, Ethernet, Python, ROS 2 and C++ SDKs, digital-twin access and teleoperation. Several FAQ answers on the page are placeholder text. We found no height, weight, payload or runtime from NEURA.

Home plans

Wikipedia’s company entry says NEURA showed a prototype doing household tasks in mid-2024, introduced a smaller 4NE1 Mini at CES 2026, and has a separate household and service robot called MiPA with reservations open. It also reports a Series C of up to US$1.4 billion announced in June 2026. Those are company-level facts; none of them makes the 4NE1 a home product today.

What is unproven

Whether it will deliver on time, what the final price will be, how much it can lift, and whether private buyers outside business use will be served. NEURA says terms and the right of withdrawal apply at checkout, so read them before paying even the €100.

Who it is for

A business or a well-funded early adopter in Europe who wants to build on it. If you want the robot a family can reserve today, see 1X NEO. The wider field is in who is building home humanoid robots.
